This blog is about the beautiful mess that is healthcare and life sciences. The most interesting nexus of this mess is the hospital–specifically, the emergency room.  It’s where homeless psychiatric patients, trauma victims and Ivy-league-educated doctors all get together and field-test the innovations researchers dream up in their labs. In addition to being a healthcare-enthusiast, I’m also a graduate student at Harvard.
